Gallery | Climbing | Climbing Lumpy Ridge: April 5, 2008

Mark and I braved bitter cold winds and snow to try and get in a climb or two at Lumpy ridge. We did the first two pitches of a 5.7 on the Pear before the real snow moved in.

There's sh!t all over the trail
There's sh!t all over everything
That's where we're climbing!
Melvin's Wheel (climbed it a month later)
The bottom of our route on the Pear - lots of snow still around

Eating lunch and hoping the snow will stop after our first climb
It's starting to accumulate on our gear
We're giving up and going home
