Gallery | Daily Life | Around Colorado Springs: October 2009

I spent another month teaching at Colorado College, and loved it. Here's a few pictures from wandering around the area at the height of fall.
The house I stayed in was a huge converted Victorian Mansion
The back of my apt building, four stories of rooms
Wind blowing across disused tennis courts behind the mansions
Sun, blue skies, fall colors, hooray!
Looking down on Monument Creek from the back "yard" of my house
This little waterfall was a short hike down the creek from my apt
Taking pictures of a waterfall on monument creek
A small waterfall and mountains in the distance
Monument Creek runs through downtown Colorado Springs
Old stairs from surrounding neighborhoods lend access to the trails near the creek
Fall vines and leaves on the decorative stone
The change of seasons is a beautiful thing
View of Pikes Peak and an impending storm from my back balcony
